This building, known more correctly as The Filter House, was constructed in 1913 and extended with the one storey addition in 1954.

It was used to filter the water from Strines, Dale Dike and Agden Reservoirs.

It has now been superseded and is now in a derelict condition and fenced off. Not really a deal left barring a few interesting schematics of the old plant and some switch gear, however the 'graff' is fantastic!!

Low Bradfield is a picturesque little village and typifies what Yorkshire life is all about. You know the scenario, picnics down by the river, the slow pace of leather against willow on the cricket pitch and the busy pub offering a fine range of ales and hearty grub.
